Sally Southern Charm Ruthlessly Abandons Baby Chicks She Brought To Impress Craig Conover Caavakushi

Sally Southern Charm Impulse Buys Sentient Beings

Those who believe that reality TV is just harmless drama are probably somewhat delusional. In fact the Caavakushi team has some sobering news that will make your blood boil. We’ve noticed that while the Southern Charm cast is busy navigating messy love triangles in Charleston, one of the latest Season 11 episodes (available on Bravo TV and Hayu) have exposed a much darker side of the southern charm cast. We’re talking about Sally the Southern Charm newcomer who thought it was a quirky idea to buy living, breathing baby chicks just to get a guy’s attention.

The Caavakushi team feels that treating sentient beings as disposable crush bait is the ultimate expression of entitlement. We’ve looked up the data on impulse buy pets, and the statistics on survivor rates for prop animals are a massive wake-up call.

Sally Carson Southern Charm & The Baby Chick Controversy

Let us be very clear here, baby animals are not gestures. The Caavakushi team noticed that in Season 11, Episode 7, Salley Carson went as far as building a chicken coop to surprise Craig Conover. Why? Because she caught feelings for him. But when it became clear that Craig wasn’t interested—and was actually dodging her sleepover invites—the interest in those chicks seemed to vanish faster than a Charleston sunset (Our source: Bravo TV / Peacock).

The 80% Abandonment Reality

We think it’s a total travesty that animals are used to impress people who didn’t ask for them. Most people are unaware of the fact that when animals are bought impulsively—like the Easter chick phenomenon—nearly 80% to 90% of them do not survive to adulthood or are surrendered within weeks (Our source: Ferne Animal Sanctuary).

The Caavakushi team feels that Salley’s behaviour perfectly mirrors this crisis. It’s not just us that have noticed this behaviour. Some Southern Charm fans on platforms like Reddit are already calling her out for acting out of character and using lives as toys (Our source: Reddit Southern Charm).

Why the Caavakushi Team Noticed The Cruelty

We feel that Sally of Southern Charm needs a lesson in animal rights. It’s important to know that baby chicks are highly social and experience a 100% increase in distress vocalizations when handled improperly or kept in unstable environments (Our source: SRUC Research).

To buy them for the sole purpose of impressing a man and using these poor little creatures as bait to entice him into some kind of a relationship is deplorable. On the show we did see that Salley admitted she may have wanted something to happen with Craig. This proves the animals were never her priority. Making moves on Craig was (Our source: Watch What Crappens).

Final Thoughts From The Caavakushi Team

We feel that authenticity on reality TV shows shouldn’t come at the cost of animal lives. We’ve found that when influencers treat animals like accessories, their followers do too. As of now, it is unclear to us what has happened to these poor creatures. All we do know is that Sally of Bravo Tv’s Southern Charm no longer has them . We hope that she did the right thing and had them rehomed to an animal sanctuary. Our message to her is a sentient life is not a love letter, Sally Carson!
