Cucumber & Dill Salad Vegan Recipe (Quick & Easy)

Cucumber & Dill Salad Vegan Recipe (Quick & Easy) Caavakushi

Cucumber & Dill Salad Vegan Recipe (Quick & Easy) Info

This original Caavakushi recipe, called the Geometric Emerald & Crystalline Dill Platter. It uses a dramatic, architectural layout. It is designed to be served specifically on a large, silver coloured (preferably silver), semicircle shaped tray featuring handles.

To keep the presentation unique we used an “Invisible Glaze Conditioning” technique. Instead of a milky or cloudy dressing, we use a clear, cold infused white balsamic and refined olive oil emulsion. By straining the dressing before applying it, we coat the cucumbers in a high-gloss sheen that seasons them intensely with salt and citrus while remaining completely transparent to the naked eye.

Cucumber & Dill Salad Plant-Based Recipe (Quick & Easy) Ingredients

Structural Presentation Base:
– 2 small, unpeeled, perfectly smooth whole English cucumbers (intact for the centre anchor)
– 2 fresh, leafy bundles of whole dill (washed, stems bound naturally & unchopped)

Surrounding Geometry:
– 2 large English cucumbers (unpeeled & sliced into cubby circles)

Crystalline Invisible Seasoning:
– 1.5 tablespoons of refined olive oil (light in flavour and entirely clear in colour)
– 1 tablespoon of fresh clarified lemon juice (strained to remove all pulp and cloudiness)
– 1/2 a teaspoon of white balsamic vinegar (for a clear, crisp sweetness)
– 1/2 a teaspoon of fine sea salt
– 1/4 teaspoon of white pepper powder (used instead of black pepper to maintain visual clarity)

Cucumber & Dill Salad Vegan Recipe (Quick & Easy) Cooking Instructions

1. Preparing The Crystalline Dressing
In a small glass bowl, combine the light refined olive oil, clarified lemon juice, white balsamic vinegar, fine sea salt, and white pepper powder. Whisk vigorously for 60 seconds until the salt completely dissolves and the mixture forms a clear, glossy, unified liquid. Then simply set it aside.

2. Setting The Centre Anchor
Place your silver coloured tray on your workstation with the straight edge facing you and the handlebars positioned on the sides. Take your two small, unpeeled whole cucumbers and place them horizontally right in the absolute centre of the tray, parallel to the straight edge. This forms an elevated green base.

3. Crowning The Center With Dill
Take your freshly washed and dried whole bundles of dill. Pat them thoroughly dry so they do not drop water onto the tray. Place these leafy, vibrant green bundles directly on top of the whole cucumbers in the center. The bright, feathery leaves should spill over the whole cucumbers like a lush forest centerpiece.

4. Sculpting The Circular Border
Take your sliced cucumber circles. Begin arranging them on the silver tray, fanning them out in concentric, overlapping semi-circular rows that completely surround the central mound of whole cucumbers and dill. Follow the natural curved edge of the semicircle tray all the way to the outer border, creating a geometric frame of green and white rings.

5. Applying The Invisible Sheen
Give your clear dressing one final stir. Using a pastry brush or a small spoon, gently drizzle or brush the transparent liquid exclusively over the sliced cucumber circles surrounding the centre. Do not pour it over the central raw dill bundle.

6. Service & Interaction
As the clear dressing hits the cucumber circles, it will instantly catch the light against the silver background of your tray, giving the sliced circles a beautiful, glistening sheen. The fine sea salt and lemon will absorb into the slices immediately. Bring the platter to the table using the silver handlebars. To serve, guests can take the highly seasoned, glistening cucumber circles from the outer edge, using sprigs plucked from the fresh dill bundle in the centre to garnish their individual portions.
